Hidden Paradise Cottages was a fantastic find! The cottages are nestled among lush tropical gardens, just steps away from the beautiful beach. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the rooms were clean and comfortable, with the added bonus of outdoor bathrooms. The breakfast included was a great start to the day. We also loved the convenience of the on-site restaurant, serving delicious meals at reasonable prices. The highlight of our stay was the amazing snorkeling right on the sandy beach outside the hotel. The hotel truly lives up to its name - a hidden paradise indeed!

Perfect location for everything. Really so close to lipah beach. A great selection restaurants to eat close by, like Warung Ketut that was only 5 minutes' walk away.
Couldn’t fault.

The place is really beautiful. The location of the place is beyond category - simply a scenery. We really enjoyed staying there for 4 days - where in the whole world do you find such a paradise? At Hidden Paradise they have a very good kitchen whether you go for breakfast lunch or dinner. It is our impression that there is a very high hygenic standard concerning food at the place. You really ger value for money here
You must be prepared for some noise in the very early morning from poultry and from religious ceremonies. We decided to take it as an interesting experience. As north europeans we needed blankets for the beds - we were ironically freezing during nights

We loved the location right next to the sea with a sandy beach and great snorkeling, and how the hotel was beautifully landscaped with a variety of plants. The spacious cottages had a lovely terrace with plenty of shades, and the pool was naturally embedded in tropical surroundings. The staff were excellent, and the restaurant had great food and was cheap.
Couldn't fault anything, it was a fantastic stay.

Hidden Paradise Cottages offers incredible value for money. The prices are affordable, especially considering the attention to detail and the hotel's location right on the beach. The snorkeling experience is truly amazing, with reefs just a short walk away from the cottages. The hotel's tropical gardens are perfectly manicured and create a beautiful ambiance. The rooms, with their outdoor bathrooms, are not only spacious and airy but also kept very clean. The comfortable beds ensure a restful night's sleep in the midst of the stunning garden surroundings. Plus, the fact that breakfast is included adds to the overall satisfaction of the stay.
Everything was great.

large room, close to beach, nice bathroom, food was good.
They tried to overcharge us, count your restaurant bills! We found animal droppings on bed twice. Very quiet area, only thing to do is diving/beach. No ATM or anything nearby.

Nice staff, clean and nice environment. Nice food presentation at the restaurant.
A bit disappointed that no hot water is available in the room.

The location of the hotel was perfect for snorkelling. The coral reef was just a few meters from the shore. The gardens were lovely and the swimming pool was a great place to relax and cool off. The breakfast food tasted good and there was a wide selection.
The rooms appeared to be a bit dated and in need of refurbishment. The service was slow at times and some of the staff were not very friendly.

The bungalow was quite large and the resort was in a nice garden setting and quite peaceful. Located right on a nice black sand, non pebbly beach (most of beaches in this area are pebbly). A little snorkeling place is close to this beach.
The breakfast was small with little options. Also take a good book, as there is no TV in the room (which on one hand is nice, however there is nothing happening in the area most nights).

The venue was great, the staff were fantastic and the food was incredible. We had an extremely enjoyable experience there and would certainly recommend it to others. We would give that hotel a 4 star rating. Wonderful, relaxing experience and the snorkelling was to die for. All in all very positive feedback.
Nothing - the whole experience was most rewarding.

What I particularly liked was the eagerness of the staff to make us comfortable. They went out of their way to respond to all our requests, even to the point of allowing us to use the computer in their office to check our email. The breakfasts were good (except for the coffee), the pool was very convenient and there were few people badgering us to buy souvenirs, take tours etc.I particularly enjoyed snorkeling in the bay. I was amazed at how calm the ocean was most of the time. The other bonus of the area is that there are a large number of restaurants and cafes along the street that offer very good food at exceptionally low prices.
The only things I did not like about Hidden Paradise Cottages were: 1) The Balinese coffee is too strong and too bitter to drink. I had to resort to instant coffee for the sake of my stomach. 2) The area is not well populated, so someone who likes to shop would be disappointed with the opportunities Amed presents. I would recommend it for someone who is willing to live in a very quiet spot and enjoys snorkeling and diving. The Japanese wreck, Liberty is close by as a favourite diving site.

Location by the beach and in the quiet vilage of Amed, far from agressive commerce and far from very touristic areas in Bali. Easy access to shorkeling sites. In fact excelent snorkeling just 3-4 meters from thea beach of Lipah. Small but nice pool. Staff at the hotel's restaurant.
Old wardrobe, smelling of mould. Dirty wash basin in the bathroom. In fact it seemed like beeing not cleaned since several months. Some bungalows in the resort were in progress of reconstruction, causing noise in the morning.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The location is perfect, nestled among stunning tropical gardens just 20 meters away from the beach. I couldn't get enough of the beautiful surroundings! The rooms were comfortable, and I especially loved the outdoor bathrooms. They were kept very clean and added a unique touch to my stay. Plus, the breakfast included in the room rate was a great added bonus.
All in all, everything was alright during my stay.
